1. Reservation

1.1 AIRPORT TAXI WROCLAW acts as a direct contractor for passenger transport services (hereinafter referred to as “Service Provider” and “ATW“). The service provider may, however, outsource the service to a subcontractor acting on behalf of and for the benefit of ATW. When making a reservation via the on-line form found on our website, the customer party concludes a contract with Airport Taxi Wrocław.

ATW takes responsibility for:

  • – organization and execution of transport services in accordance with the customer’s order
  • – processing of all online payments made via the Airport Taxi Wroclaw portal
  • – partial or total return for the customer if the service ordered was not carried out or was carried out improperly

1.2 Reservations are made via the Airport Taxi Wroclaw reservation system and depend on the availability of the requested service.

1.3 After making a reservation through the ATW portal, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and a Voucher authorizing you to travel in accordance with the order specification.

1.4 AIRPORT TAXI WROCLAW is responsible for the correct performance of the contract and transport service.

1.5 The ordering person is responsible for providing the correct information required to make the booking and for carrying it out. This means that the name and surname, e-mail address, mobile phone number of one of the passengers, the pick up address and the drop off address are correct. If the customer expects a VAT invoice for the ordered service, then it is also necessary to provide the invoice data. Make sure that the contact phone is switched on during the scheduled pickup. In the situation when the telephone is switched off or unreachable, the driver has the right to leave after 20 minutes from the scheduled time of passenger reception. In this case, it is not possible to refund the money.

1.6 The person who makes the reservation must be older than 18 years. When making a reservation, please make sure you are aware of the general terms and conditions that apply to the transportation contract and that you agree with these General Terms and Conditions.

2. Payment

2.1 The customer can make decision of method of payment at the booking stage. We give you a choice between payment in a car (cash or debit/credit card) or on-line payment by banking transfer, debit/credit card or PayPal.

2.2 After receiving the booking with the ‘Payment at driver‘ option selected, the Service Provider has the right to request the ordering party to pay part of the value of the order as an deposit. This amount will be deducted from the amount due after the order is processed.

2.3 The entity providing online payment services is Blue Media S.A.

2.4 Online payments methods:

  • Banking transfers
  • Debit/credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, MasterCard Electron, Maestro
  • PayPal

2.5 Airport Taxi Wrocław accepts payments in PLN (Polish Zloty), GBP (Pounds Sterling), EUR (Euro) and USD (US Dollar). All amounts include VAT calculated on the basis of the local tax rate.

3. Price

3.1 The price of the Point-to-Point service is calculated based on the actual travel distance. The price and any additional payments depend on the date and time of the commencement of the journey. Local extra charges, such as road and parking fees, are included.

3.2 The price of the hourly rental service is calculated on the basis of the rate per hour of rental of the vehicle and the time of renting. The rental price includes a 20 km limit per hour.

4. Voucher

4.1 On-line payment – within 24 hours from posting the payment on the Airport Taxi Wroclaw account, the ordering party will receive an e-mail with the Voucher authorizing him to travel.

4.2 Payment at the driver – Within 24 hours of receiving the reservation, Airport Taxi Wroclaw may ask for an advance payment towards the service. In case of request for advance payment, the Ordering Party will receive a Voucher in accordance with the provisions of art. 4.1, and if the advance payment is not necessary, the orderer will receive an e-mail with the Voucher within 24 hours of placing the order.

4.3 Airport Taxi Wroclaw reserves the right to check booking prices within 24 hours of its completion and possible changes. Possible price irregularities may result from a system error (incorrect calculation), changes in road tolls or tax changes. If, as a result, the total price is higher, then art. 6 does not apply. The ordering party may cancel his reservation or confirm it and pay the difference amount.

5. Availability of vehicles and services

5.1 Reservations can be made by selecting the type of vehicle, not the make and model. The Service Provider reserves the right to use a vehicle of a different category than the one selected during the booking – the Service Provider may in such a situation use only a larger or a higher class vehicle. The ordering party then does not bear any additional costs. It is not possible for the service to be carried out with a vehicle of a lower standard.

5.2 Airport Taxi Wroclaw reserves the right to reject the reservation within 12 hours from the moment of its receipt. We do not guarantee that we can successfully complete each order. The reservation is final after receiving from the Service Provider an e-mail with a Voucher confirming the booking. Upon receipt of the Airport Taxi Wroclaw voucher,  can not cancel the journey, except in cases of force majeure.

6. Cancellation

6.1 The contract shall be deemed concluded and binding for both parties when the following conditions are met:

  • The service provider will receive a payment for travel or agree to payment at the driver
  • The ordering party will receive the confirmation of the order together with the reservation numer

The contract is subject to the following conditions of cancellation.

  • Cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled time of collection, cancellation is free.
  • Cancellation of reservations from 24 to 12 hours before the scheduled time of collection, the cancellation fee is 50% of the agreed price.
  • Cancellations from 12 to 6 hours before the scheduled time of collection, the cancellation fee is 75% of the agreed price.
  • Canceling a reservation less than 6 hours before the scheduled time of collection, the cancellation fee is 100% of the agreed price.

6.2 In case of no-show, the passenger will be charged 100% of the price of the journey.

7. Reservation changing

7.1 Any changes to the booking, such as a change of date and time, must be immediately reported to the Customer Service Department, otherwise Airport Taxi Wrocław can not guarantee the availability of transport. The telephone number for the Customer Service Department can be found in the “Contact” tab and in your voucher.

7.2 If during booking a ride the Ordering Party has provided the flight number and his flight is delayed or arrives earlier, the Ordering Party is not obliged to inform the Service Provider about this fact. With the flight number we are able to monitor the time of landing of the aircraft. After landing, passengers have 45 minutes to leave the customs clearance zone. If during customs there were any problems or passengers would have any problems with picking up the luggage then please contact the Customer Service Department.

8. Refund policy

8.1 In the event of cancellation by the Customer, the Service Provider undertakes to immediately return the funds in the amount consistent with the provisions of Article. 6.1 of this contract.

8.2 In the event of failure to perform the service due to the fault of Airport Taxi Wroclaw, the Ordering Party shall be entitled to a refund of the entire paid amount.

8.3 Airport Taxi Wroclaw refunds the payment using the same method of payment as used by the Ordering Party, unless it expressly agreed to a different method of return, which does not entail any costs for it.

9. LIABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY AND CLAIMS

9.1 Airport Taxi Wroclaw is a direct contractor for services or services provided by subcontractors and Airport Taxi Wroclaw is responsible for the manner of execution of the order.

9.2 The Service Provider is not liable for any losses incurred by the Passenger (eg late arrival on the plane) due to incorrect estimation by the ordering person of sufficient time for travel – the travel time given in our form is approximate and does not take into account traffic.

9.3 The Ordering Party is obliged to immediately inform ATW about any problems and complaints so that the Service Provider can take steps to solve the problem as soon as possible. Failure to comply with this obligation will result in the inability to claim compensation or reimbursement.

9.4 Complaints should be submitted to the Service Provider as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days from the date of the journey referred to in the Voucher. In situations when the journey was performed by a subcontractor – Airport Taxi Wroclaw acts as a party to the contract and is directly responsible for the manner of its implementation.

9.5 Airport Taxi Wroclaw can not be held responsible for any delays, changes or cancellations of reservations, if the contract can not be executed (partly or in full) due to random situation such as armed conflict, terrorist activity, extreme weather conditions hindering road traffic, activities “Force majeure” or due to other circumstances that can not be predicted or are beyond the Service Provider’s control. This is in line with standard exemptions, for example in tourist insurance.

9.6 All information on our website is provided in good faith and is believed to be correct at the time of publication. Airport Taxi Wroclaw is not responsible for any other inaccuracies that may result from “out of date” information provided directly by the service contractor.

10. Extras

10.1 Child seats and child booster are available in any Airport Taxi Wroclaw vehicle at an additional cost in accordance with the price list included in the booking form. The information about the need to provide the car seat should be given to the Service Provider at the latest 48 hours before the planned time of order completion. Otherwise, the Service Provider is not obliged to provide a child seat/child booster.

11. Luggage

11.1 Each of the Airport Taxi Wroclaw vehicles has a defined payload capacity. For example, Sedan – 3 suitcases. This means that each of the three passengers can take one piece of medium size luggage with dimensions of max. 140 cm, 71 cm x 42 cm x 24 cm (l + w + h) and one piece of hand luggage – a backpack or a small suitcase. We advise you to remember that the body of the trunk of most sedans allows you to take only two large (suitcases larger than those listed above), so if you travel in a larger group or have more luggage than specified above, we suggest to choose in booking form a vehicle with a higher payload – for example Minivan.

12. Meeting Point

12.1 Most airport terminals have meeting locations in the arrivals hall. If there are several arrival terminals at the airport, and during the booking the Ordering party has provided the flight number, then our driver will wait for passengers in the arrivals hall of the terminal at which their plane will land.

12.2 In the case of pickup from any place other than the airport, the meeting point will be individually agreed with the passenger.

13. Disputes

13.1 All matters not covered by this contract shall be governed by the provisions of the Civil Code. All disputes will be settled by the court competent for the place of registration of Airport Taxi Wroclaw. All claims expire after one year from the date of completing the booking / service by Airport Taxi Wrocław.
